Little Climate Champions on the Go – How Does It Work?

During a climate-themed campaign week, every climate-friendly trip—whether on foot, by scooter or bike, or by bus or train—earns one Green Mile.

Red Miles for regional food and Blue Miles for energy savings can also be collected.

Each mile corresponds to a sticker in the children’s mile collection album. The total number of miles collected by an institution or municipality is reported to the Climate Alliance and added to their tally.

The Climate Alliance will present the total number of Green Miles collected across Europe as a contribution from the children of Europe to global climate protection at the 30th UN Climate Change Conference in Brazil.

Since the Climate Summit begins on November 10, the 2025 mileage collection campaign runs until October 10!

You’re free to decide whether to organize a single campaign week or extend the period over several weeks. For this, you have access to the Kids’ Miles Collection Album, the Additional Collection Album for frequent collectors, and many other campaign ideas and templates (see Materials). Of course, you can also make your own collection poster.
